Professor Kemal Ozgur Demirtas of Zicklin's School of Business discussed Turkey's possible entrance into the European Union on Feb. 27.
In a speech to the Turkish Students Association, Demirtas criticized the country's education system, saying that the history of the Ottoman Empire is not being taught as well as it should be. A lot of his country's history Demirtas learned only when he started his education at graduate school. "
