The Turkish Republic State Railways (TCDD) is to modernize domestic routes and to service with new sets of trains.
Local train routes and trains will be renewed in Istanbul, Ankara and İzmir. For all the projects, the deadline is 2009. The renovation will be financed by low-credit foreign resources."
