U.S. congressman Robert Wexler said the United States needed to have firm relations with Turkey to help its strategic interests, reported the Anatolia news agency yesterday. Speaking at a meeting held by Turkish Americans living in New York, Wexler said it was in the best interest of the U.S. not to adopt the alleged Armenian genocide bill submitted to the House of Representatives."
