"The Eighth Turkish-Greek summit in Crete

The Eighth Annual Turkish Aegean Coasts and Greek Aegean Islands Economic Summit is to be held June 15-16 in Crete with the cooperation of the Greek Chambers of Commerce and the İzmir Chamber Of Commerce (İTO). İTO Chairman Ekrem Demirtaş stated that the main subjects of the summit would be tourism, communication and cooperation about the collective use of EU funds. Demirtaş said that Turkish and Greek cuisines were alike and thus it was important to introduce Aegean cuisine abroad."
