"Women's Film Festival meets great interest en route to Istanbul

The Filmmor Women's Cooperative was founded in 2003 with the mission of making films with women and increasing their visibility in both cinema and the media. Filmmor has assisted the making of 10 films by and about women, as well as sponsoring various filmmaking workshops. Add to their repertoire this year's Fifth International Filmmor Women's Film Festival On Wheels, which has received 60 applications from nearly 50 countries, the Anatolia news agency reported."
