Turkey's export to neighboring countries increased 17.4 percent in 2006 and reached $8.7 billion.
Exports to 45 regional countries showed a 23.6 percent increase and settled at $21.2 billion.
The total share of exports to neighboring and regional countries in overall export stands at 34.8 percent and Iraq tops neighboring countries with a 3 percent share. "
