Bulgaria’s National Assembly has excluded Bulgarians who have been resident in the country for less than three months from voting in the country’s elections in May for members of the European Parliament. The decision has angered the Movement for Rights and Freedoms, the party supported mainly by Bulgarians of ethnic Turkish descent and which has a substantial electorate living in Turkey.
