The European Union gave the green-light for the opening of membership negotiations with Turkey on the financial control chapter, reported the NTV news channel yesterday. The number of negotiating chapters that can open with Brussels has risen to four now. Brussels decided to open talks in the area of statistics, enterprise and industrial policy and economic and monetary union. "
