"Turkish PM comment casts doubt on power grid sale

ANKARA, Jan 5 (Reuters) - Turkish plans to sell off three electricity grids this year appeared in some doubt on Friday after Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan was quoted as saying his government was not considering privatisation at present. Companies interested in buying the grids, which include major European utilities, must submit their bids on January 19. The grids serve the capital Ankara, the Asian side of Istanbul, Turkey's business hub, and the land between the two cities."
