Within possibly the last five years the people of Istanbul’s concept of ‘coffee’ have been dramatically changing from the intense flavour of the legendary ‘Turkish coffee’, a zest of a heritage from the great Ottoman times, to a more lively custom based on American culture. What is accountable for that rather rough transition is basically the multinational coffee company boom expanding all over the world. Starbucks is one of the largest actors of this phenomenon. "
