"Turkey to host 5th World Water Forum in 2009

Turkey and the World Water Council ( WWC) on Thursday signed an agreement regarding the 5th World Water Forum and Ministerial Conference to be held in Istanbul in 2009, the semi-official Anatolia news agency reported.
Speaking at the signing ceremony in Ankara, Turkish Energy and Natural Resources Minister Hilmi Guler said that 15,000 people from about 150 countries are expected to attend the forum to discuss issues and solutions regarding water in the world."
