"Egypt says it agrees with Turkey on preventing Islamic-West clash

Egypt said on Friday that it has agreed with Turkey on preventing a clash between the Islamic world and the West, the official MENA news agency reported.
The agreement was reached by the two sides during Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Abul Gheit's two-day visit to Turkey.
The two sides agreed on working towards preventing an Islamic- West clash, and on continued consultations and coordination as regards developments in the Middle East, Egyptian Foreign Ministry spokesman Alaa el-Hadidi was quoted as saying."
