74.8 percent of Turkish automotive products were exported to the EU in 2006.
According to Uludağ Exporters' Association's (UİB) figures, Turkish automotive industry exported its products to 170 countries in five continents.
USD 11,12 billion of total Turkish automotive industry exports worth USD 14.87 billion were traded with EU countries as Turkey's traditional commercial partners. "
