I am writing in relation to two pieces published in the opinion page of your newspaper, on October 31, entitled, "Talking Turkey about Armenian history" and "French genocide bill complicates Turkey's EU bid" respectively. The former contains a number of inaccuracies and distortions of certain facts. It should be remembered that during World War I, some 3 million Turks lost their lives throughout the then-Ottoman territories."
