"Turkey, Bahamas vow to strengthen ties

Turkish Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul and his visiting Bahamian counterpart Fred Mitchell agreed Wednesday to further strengthen cooperation between the two countries, the semi-official Anatolia news agency reported.
Turkey wants to develop relations with the Bahamas in every area, and this is for the interest of both countries, Gul told reporters after meeting with Mitchell, who arrived here on Oct. 7 for a formal visit."
