Not much has changed in terms of socio-economic factors in the southeast, according to a survey carried out by the Prime Ministry's Family Research Center.
According to the survey carried out among four villages affiliated to Sanliurfa, there's still a feudal system, a gap between the 'haves' and 'have-nots' within the feudal system and marriages between relatives in the region."
