"Half of Turkey’s automotive exports made to 4 countries

The automotive sector made about half of its exports in 7 months of the year to Italy, Germany, France, and England.
According to the information collected from data of Uludağ Exporters’ Union (UİB), the Turkish automotive sector’s exports were made to totally 163 countries and autonomous regions in 5 continents and 13 free zones especially to developed western countries in January-July period.
USD 6 billion 201 million 422 thousand of total automotive exports of USD 8 billion 627 million 136 thousand were made to European Union member states, which are traditionally Turkey’s leading trade partners. This figure meets 71.9 percent of total automotive exports and it shows the potential of 25 EU member states compared to 138 countries.

Exports which were made to EU member states such as Italy, Germany, France, and England, posed about half of the whole automotive exports with USD 4 billion 292 million 957 thousand."
