"Economic Minister discusses cooperation with Turkish Businessmen delegation

DAMASCUS, (SANA)-
Minister of Economy and Trade Dr. Amer Hosni Lutfi has discussed with a Turkish businessmen delegation economic cooperation between the two countries and means of developing it.
Dr. Lutfi expressed 'Syria's desire to enhance economic, trade and investment cooperation with Turkey to match the level of the standing political relations', pointing out that 'endorsing the free trade zone agreement by the Turkish parliament will improve the rate of trade exchange between the two countries'.
He stressed that 'Syria adopted a lot of measures to encourage the local, Arab and international investment', referring that the new investment law, which is scheduled to be issued soon, will participate in attracting foreign investments."
