Bilgi was founded at Kuştepe 10 years ago in a district most people were reluctant to enter. Not only with its unusual choice of venues for its campuses, but also in hosting two highly publicized Armenian and Kurdish conferences this year, Bilgi has a different stance. Rector Uğur says, 'Ostrich policy does not get Turkey anywhere' and strongly supports that the 'unspoken and untried must be voiced and tested in universities' "
