Despite the massive military deployment along Turkey's border with Iraq, the Turkish military has not crossed into northern Iraq to take measures against the terrorist Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), which has established bases in the area. Yet since last month PKK terror attacks have continued unabated and one could even talk about a visible increase in the number and intensity of attacks carried out. Although the recent shocking gang operations have overshadowed the rise in PKK terrorist attacks, the sheer reality is that since May there have been more than 30 killed and 55 wounded. "
