"US supports end of Turkish Cypriots' isolation, but rules out recognition
U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Dan Fried has hinted that Washington aims to continue support for an end to the isolation of the Turkish Cypriots, but ruled out actual recognition of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).
