Turkish and European Union (EU) officials have begun to hold talks on the screening of justice, liberty and security issues as part of Turkey's EU membership process.
The Turkish delegation led by Foreign Ministry Assistant Undersecretary Ahmet Acet will discuss the protection of immigrant rights, rights of asylum seekers, judicial cooperation, customs gates, human trafficking and drug smuggling, and police organization with their EU counterparts during the three-day talks."
