"SUNY's Turkish dual-degree programs expanding
BINGHAMTON, N.Y. The number of Turkish students participating in SUNY dual-degree programs continues to grow.
State university officials say several campuses across New York now have partnerships with Turkish colleges.
Robert Gosende (GO'-send-ee) -- associate vice chancellor for international programs -- says he's pleased with the early success of the dual-degree programs. Gosende told Binghamton radio station W-N-B-F that Turkish students are -- in his words -- 'voting with their feet' as they apply to participate in the programs.
SUNY campuses participating in the Turkish partnerships include Binghamton, Buffalo, Cortland, Brockport and New Paltz."
