"Rehn Supports Turkey's E.U. Membership
PARIS - European Enlargement Commissioner Olli Rehn has extended support to Turkey's EU bid.
Speaking at a French parliamentary commission meeting on Tuesday, Rehn recalled that Turkey is located in a strategical region of the world, noting that accession of Turkey (to the EU) which is stable, democratic and respectful to human rights would be to the interest of the EU."
