"Uslu: The Dialogue Between Turkish And Italian Parliamentarians Will Bring Turkey Closer To The E.U.
ANKARA - Turkish Justice & Development Party (AKP) Istanbul deputy Zeynep Karahan Uslu indicated today that the dialogue between Turkish and Italian parliamentarians will bring Turkey closer to the European Union (EU).
The seminar held jointly by Turkish & Italian parliamentary delegations within the scope of cooperation protocol ended.
Among the topics discussed at the seminar were ''Climate Changes,'' ''Natural Disasters,'' and the ''Struggle against human trafficking in the Mediterranean Region.''
Meanwhile, Italian Parliament Foreign Affairs Commission member Monica Baldi noted that her government wishes Turkey's accession talks with the EU to be completed successfully. ''Turkish-Italian ties will help eradication of all concerns in the EU,'' said Baldi.
The visiting Italian delegation will be received by Istanbul Governor Muammer Guler and Mayor Kadir Topbas on Tuesday."
