ANKARA (DIHA) - In the Drama Festival of Ankara, the Kurdish play called 'Rojniviska Dineki' has been acclaimed by theatre appreciators.

The play 'Rojniviska Dineki' (The Diary of a Madman) translated from the Russian author Nikolay Gogol's works into Kurdish has been staged in French Cultural Centre. The play, directed by Cihan Şan and staged by Aydın Orak from Tiyatro Avesta, was watched by many people among whom Kurdish politician Canip Yıldırım was present. The play dealing with the life of a common civil servant called Aksentiy Ivanovich who thinks he is the Spanish King and closed in a lunatic asylum, has taken great acclamation.

After the show, Orak was given a plaquette by the Culture and Arts Association of Social Researches. "
