"Cyprus rejects UK-French deal over Turkey talks

EUOBSERVER / BRUSSELS - The Cypriot government said on Tuesday (13 September) that it cannot accept a UK-French deal on an EU counter-declaration on Cyprus, meant to pave the way for accession talks with Turkey.
A Cypriot spokesman told the EUobserver today (13 September) that the UK-French deal agreed last weekend is 'not satisfactory' adding that Cyprus had 'not been implicated' in the compromise."
