"Top Turkish Steel Executives Resign

Thousands of workers at Turkey's largest steel and iron company have protested the firm's possible sale to a foreign company, and two of the company's top executives quit, officials said Wednesday.
The resignations of Erdemir General Manager Kerim Dervisoglu and Atamer Giyici, general manager of one of the state-owned company's larger subsidiaries, was confirmed by an Erdemir spokeswoman, who said the company would not comment on why they left. "
