"Talat Starts ‘Kabab Diplomacy’ with Greeks

Reportedly, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) President Mehmet Ali Talat has invited Cypriot Greek AKEL Party Secretary Dimitris Hristofyas to his home in Girne (Kyrenia) for a ”kebab” party.
Hristofyas has responded positively to the “Shish Kebab Cyprus Style” invitation. It has been emphasized that Talat’s meal with Hristofyas will also determine the type of food that Talat would plan to serve to Greek Cypriot President Tasos Papadopulous in a similar meeting. On the other side, Papadopulous has said he is not opposed to a meeting, comprising social issues, with Talat. The Greek leader, speaking to Astra radio, has recorded in this case the agenda will b
