"Egemen Bagis: EU Talks Will End Quickly

The talks between Turkey and the European Union won't take as long as predicted thanks to our efforts, said Egemen Bagis, Istanbul deputy of the ruling Justice and Development (AK) Party and foreign policy aide to Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, yesterday.
In an interview with the Koc Group's 'Bizden Haberler' magazine, Bagis stated that it would take Turkey two months to reach a turning point, and added, 'The negotiation process that starts on Oct. 3 is of great importance for both Turkey and EU member states.'"
