On August 4, 2005, JINSA convened a panel of experts to discuss what role the U.S. can and should play in the battle against the resurgent Kurdish terrorist organization known as the PKK (Partiya Karker�n Kurdistan). The timing of the panel coincided with the second trilateral meeting on the PKK attended by Turkish, American, and Iraqi officials held the same week in Washington, D.C."
