McLaren boss Ron Dennis has hailed the Istanbul Otodrom as a new Spa-Francorchamps - and claims Turkey's new venue has more going for it than the legendary Belgian track.
Istanbul hosted a grand prix for the first time on Sunday, with Kimi Raikkonen winning from Fernando Alonso to conclude a weekend which has heard nothing but praise for the track.
Dennis offered unqualified praise for the latest venue to host Formula One, which has impressed him by offering an exciting and challenging lay-out with ultra-modern facilities."
