"The Second World war: Armenian - NAZI Collaboration?
Dr. Sedat LACINER
The historical Armenian mistrust towards the Jews continued in the 1930s and 1940s and some radical Armenians did not hesitate to support the Nazi administration. Ayhan Ozer claims that Hitler aimed to get the Armenian support in his anti-Semitic campaign. In other words both, Nazi party and the radical anti-Semitic Armenians saw each other in the same side. Apart from the common feelings about the Jews, in foreign policy, Hitlers future invasion plans of Russia provided a golden opportunity for the Armenians to liberate what they considered to be Historic Armenia from the Soviet as well as the Turkish rule.[11]"
