How the Turkish government and judicial organs of the state handle the excessive use of force in the Women's Day demonstration is just one of the many test cases for Turkey to demonstrate its sincerity and commitment to the reform process.
Apparently, the satire in our editorial yesterday was misunderstood by some people who started to view us as one of those conservative Turks acting with �national honor� considerations, ignoring excessive use of force by the police on demonstrators and attacking European critics. "
