"Turkey: Chinese transfer enterprises to Antalya
14:49 - 02 March 2005 - Four Chinese producers who supply vegetables to Chinese restaurants across Europe have transferred their production from Spain and the Netherlands to Turkey, reports Zaman daily.
Renting 20,000 square meters of land in the southern Turkish city of Antalya, four Chinese selling 22 different vegetables that they produce with a Turkish firm to Chinese restaurants in Germany and the Netherlands. The Chinese producers said Turkey has similar climate with Spain and added that they will benefit more from the vegetables planted in Antalya. "
