ANKARA: Turkey's audiovisual media watchdog RUTK wants to curb Turkey's highly popular and controversial reality television shows, citing their harmful 'effects on children and teenagers,' RUTK Chairman Fatih Karaca said.
'I come from the world of television myself, but I am sorry to say I am ashamed of these shows,' Karaca said in remarks reported Thursday by the press. "
