'We call on all parties related to the issue to exert efforts to find a resolution,' EU term president's ambassador says

Luxembourg's Ambassador to the United States Arlette Conzemius said his country would do its best during its European Union term presidency to resolve the Cyprus dispute, the Anatolia news agency said yesterday.
Speaking at a press briefing outlining Luxembourg's priorities during its presidency term that is to last until the end of June, �We call on all parties related to the issue to exert efforts to find a resolution,� Anatolia quoted Conzemius as saying.
Cyprus has been divided between Turkish and Greek Cypriots since 1974 when the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) intervened on the island to stop Greek Cypriot attacks on Turkish Cypriots. "
