Turkish lira tumbles to new low
After a brief reprieve, the Turkish lira is in free fall again.
The currency sank to a new record low against the US dollar on Wednesday amid speculation the central bank could be forced to cut interest rates after President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stepped up his criticism of the bank.
