Turkey approves bill for tighter website blocking
A commission at Turkish Parliament has approved an omnibus bill giving authority to the prime minister or a Cabinet member to order a ban on a website for 24 hours citing security reasons, without a court order with orders to the Telecommunications Directorate (TİB).
