Galatasaray vs Fenerbahce: Three key battles that will decide the Istanbul derby

On Saturday Galatasaray will square off against bitter rivals Fenerbahce in the latest installment of the Kitalar Arasi Derbi with both teams just one point off leaders Besiktas. Both sides have identical records so far – Gala edge out their rivals on goal difference – but they will know that even in this early stage of the season defeat for either side could prove catastrophic not just in terms of local pride and bragging rights, but also their chances of ending the season top of the pile.
