Erdoğan appoints AK Party-affiliated figures to HSYK
In a move that has cast further doubt over the impartiality of the country's top judicial body, the Supreme Court of Judges and Prosecutors (HSYK), President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has appointed four members to the board, three of whom have direct relations with the Justice and Development Party (AK Party), Erdoğan's former party.
