İstanbul bar head says Turkey turned into “wild west” with ruined law system

İstanbul Bar Association chairman Ümit Kocasakal stated that Turkey has turned into “Wild West” with its ruined law system due to intervention of the government to law.
Speaking during a meeting at Hilton Hotel in Taksim, Kocasakal said ,as their constitutional right, many lawyers submitted petitions to the prosecutors against the government which intervened to the judiciary and security forces just after a far-reaching graft operation against the government. Hoewever, the prosecutors did not accept the petititons. Kocasakal said such a practice by the prosecutors poses a crime.
