Euro Edges Higher Despite EU Downgrade; Turkish Lira Slumps

The euro pared some of its losses posted against the dollar Friday, after the U.S. Federal Reserve decided to start scaling back its monthly bond purchases, trading above the $1.3660 against the greenback.
