Turkish tourism shows no sign of slowing down

(ANSAmed) - ROME, OCTOBER 15 - The number of tourists making their way to Turkey rose by an average of 10.67% on the year between January and August, reports the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. A total of 24,089,031 tourists arrived in the country in the period in question, with Germans accounting for the largest share (13.89%, or 3,339,626 tourists), followed by Russia (12.89%, or 3,104,869) and Great Britain (7.23%, or 1,742,549).
