Turkish FM optimistic for "contact group" over Syria
CAIRO, Sept. 17 (Xinhua) -- The visiting Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu called for solving the Syrian crisis regionally without foreign intervention, Egypt's state media reported on Monday.
Davutoglu expressed optimism for the "contact group" over Syria to start its working procedures, official news agency MENA quoted him as saying at a press conference following his meeting with Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi.
