BKP says British Bases in Cyprus could spark war

THE TURKISH CYPRIOT United Cyprus Party (BKP) expressed its frustration at the continued presence of British bases in Cyprus, reports daily Afrika.
BKP’s ‘foreign affairs secretary’ Salih Rustu stated that Cyprus is in danger of having a war breaking up due to the existence of the British sovereign base in the island, as a result of the various developments taking place in Middle East, especially Syria.
