TURKEY LARGEST EU GROWER OF WALNUTS AND HAZELNUTS
In the European area, Turkey has the major quota in the production of walnuts, followed by Poland, France and Greece. In 2011, the total walnut surface in Turkey was 47.000 ha, growing from the 16.000 in 2003.
