Turkey in the eyes of a Midland exchange student

Gaia Klotz never realized the vast differences in the wealth of nations, but that’s what struck her most during a yearlong trip to Turkey as part of Rotary International’s exchange program.
Klotz talked about that and her other experiences in Ankara during a recent presentation at Creative 360. The Midland High School graduate spent the 2011-12 school year in Ankara, living with three host families.
