Mine Kills 8 in Turkey
ISTANBUL—Turkish media reports say suspected Kurdish rebels have detonated a land mine in eastern Turkey, killing eight police officers.
Anadolu News Agency said the attack occurred in Bingol province on Sunday, and that the mine exploded as a police vehicle drove along a highway. It said nine other police officers were wounded.
