Sofia. Building an interconnector between Bulgaria and Turkey is essential for natural gas supplies from Azerbaijan in 2014, Bulgarian Minister of Economy, Energy and Tourism Delyan Dobrev said in an interview with Bulgarian National Radio.
During the visit of a Bulgarian governmental delegation to Azerbaijan it was announced that Bulgaria will receive gas from Azerbaijan as of 2014, becoming the first EU country Baku commits to supply with natural gas.
